A Note From the Inventor
A few months ago I started having problems with my 2011 21.5″ iMac’s hinge, resulting in screen sag. After doing some research I discovered that I was not alone. If you are out of warranty the repairs can be quite costly. I designed this product as a low-cost solution for people like myself that may be capable of doing the repair themselves but don’t want to perform surgery on their expensive machine. There are also people out there that may be under warranty but just don’t want to part with their machine for days or possibly weeks to have the repair done.
I was fully prepared to purchase whatever was on the market to fix my problem. To my surprise, no such thing existed, so I created it!
